CROISSANT RED ANGUS .   Our customers braved a relentless wind to evaluate the bulls and heifers penned outside behind windbreaks.   Our new video format was well received as the sale was held inside our heated shop.      We sold all 63 of the bulls offered plus the 10 registered open heifers.   The bulls averaged $3150 and the heifers averaged $1760.   The two top selling bulls sold for $6,000.     LOT 1, a LJC MERLIN T179 son, to Leu Ranches in Nebraska and LOT 5, a LJC PAWNEE CANYON P4 son, to Silver Spur Ranches in CO & WY.   The next two top sellers sold for $5,000.   LOT 8, a   MESSMER PACKER S008 son, to Micheal Wasson in Kansas and shared possession on LOT 10, a   BROWN LONESTAR S7279 son, to Koester Red Angus in North Dakota.    Volume purchaser was the Rocker Ranch in Texas with 5 bulls.   Ten registered open yearling heifers sold for an average of $1760.   The top selling heifers were LOTS 70 & 71, a MERLIN daughter and a BECKTON NEBULA R367 daughter, to Anderson Farms in Kansas.   Creekside Farms in CO was the volume heifer purchaser with 4 heifers.
